El Shafey Group has been operating at the port for over 20 years, handling a wide variety of food products including frozen meats, liver, kidneys, hearts, fish, and canned goods.
In the early days, shipments arrived on cargo vessels in storage holds before the introduction of containers. Unloading was carried out directly from the ship’s hold to cold storage units on the dock, with operations running from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Later, the process evolved into containerized shipments — refrigerated, frozen, or dry — and this system continues to this day.
Adapting to the Nafeza Unified System
With the launch of the Unified National Window (Nafeza), El Shafey Group adapted quickly to the new digital customs environment.
We attended specialized workshops and adopted the system from its earliest phase to provide seamless digital coordination for our clients.
